Partner in Demarest's Investment Funds and Asset Management practice area, Mariane Kondo holds a bachelor's degree in Law from PUC-SP. Mariane concentrates her practice on assisting clients in structuring and attracting investment funds with different strategies, including financial investment funds (FIF), index funds (Exchange Traded Funds), equity investment funds (FIP), real estate investment funds (FII) and credit rights investment funds (FIDC), as well as in transactions involving the purchase and sale of asset portfolios, registration and various demands from administrators and managers of securities portfolios, and regulatory and self-regulatory advice. Her practice is also marked by her work in crypto assets, including the structuring of investment funds for direct and/or indirect investment and strategic advice on compliance with the Brazilian legal and regulatory requirements applicable to investment in this type of asset. Mariane has been recognized by major legal publications such as IFLR 1000, Women in Business Law and Euromoney Expert Guides.
- Advised Investo Gestão de Recursos Ltda. on the structuring of all index funds (ETFs), including WRDL11, which follows the world-renowned ETF VT (Vanguard® Total World Stock) index, listed on the New York Stock Exchange; LFTB11, which follows the performance of post-fixed government bonds linked to the Selic and IPCA rates; and HODL11, with direct exposure to Bitcoin.
