Partner in Demarest's Life Sciences and Healthcare practice area, Elysangela Rabelo holds a specialization degree in Business Management from Business School São Paulo and a bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade São Judas Tadeu. She has extensive experience in foreign investments, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and regulatory affairs in these sectors. Elysangela represented domestic and international clients in different-sized projects, such as selling specialized medical clinics to strategic investors, advising a medical equipment multinational company in a public-private partnership within the hospital sector, selling private hospitals, purchasing pharmaceutical plants, and assisting in multi-jurisdictional transactions involving the purchase and sale of assets within the pharmaceutical industry. She was a pioneering professional in establishing the Life Sciences practice area in Brazil, combining M&A, commercial transactions, and regulatory affairs. Elysangela has been recognized by some of the main legal publications such as Chambers, Lexology, The Legal 500, and Análise Advocacia.
