Demarest announces Rosi Costa Barros as its new partner in the Energy practice area. Rosi has been working in the Power sector for more than 20 years, across all of the relevant segments. A graduate in Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, she holds a master’s degree (LL.M) in Corporate Law from IBMEC Business School and is studying towards an MBA in Business Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Before joining Demarest, Rosi was a partner at Neiva, Barros & Figueiró Advogados, and was a founding partner at Soares, Bumachar, Chagas e Barros Advogados. Rosi is also an Institutional Director and a founding member of the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law Studies (IBDE) and, since 2011, has been recognized by Chambers Latin America and Chambers Global as a prominent professional in the area of ​​“Energy & Natural Resources: Power”.
