Partner of Demarest´s Real Estate practice, Marc Stalder holds a master’s degree in Real Estate Law from University of Illinois at Chicago’s John Marshall Law School, holds specializations in Real Estate Registration Law from PUC-MG, in Business Law from FMU and a bachelor’s degree in Law from FMU. Marc has more than 15 years of experience in structuring different types of real estate developments, rural and urban properties regularization and negotiations of complexes agreements. Marc has worked on the negotiation and development of more than 100 real estate ventures and coordinated multidisciplinary teams responsible for the regularization of over 1.4 million acres of farmland. He is also a professor of short-term and specialization courses related to real estate contracts, real estate litigation, Notary and Registration Law.
- Mr. Stalder advised a North-American company in the expansion and installation of two new industrial units in the Northeast and Southeast Brazil, with focus on real estate acquisitions, regularizations, licensing and preventive and repressive actions related to litigations involving third parties. Amount-involved: approximately USD 500 million.
- Mr. Stalder advised different Brazilian and foreign companies regarding the regularization of rural properties, involving more than 650 thousand hectares and in the regularization of industrial units in different States of Brazil.
- Mr. Stalder advised a Brazilian company regarding business structuring and negotiations of instruments for implementation of a new airport in the Greater São Paulo region.
- Mr. Stalder advised different surviving companies regarding the legal structuring of real estate developments for different uses, including complex and diversified uses, comprising more than 100 real estate developments in different States of Brazil.
- Mr. Stalder advised a Brazilian company regarding the real estate regularization, business structuring and negotiations of instruments for implementation of a new distribution center and food warehouse in the State of São Paulo
